For hard charging power in variable conditions, it doesn’t get much better than the Armada Invictus.
New for the 14/15 season, the Invictus blends a versatile waist width with a stiffer flex pattern and longer turning radius- not to mention Armada’s fastest comp series base. The end product is a ski that will perform on the deep days like you want it to, but it can hammer through variable snow a week after the last storm. As far as the Invictus is concerned, the faster you want to ski the better.
It’s 136 mm in the tip, 106 underfoot, and 126 in the tail. The AR nose rocker profile lifts the nose and tail with classic camber underfoot for powerful response when you need it and great floatation when the storm cycles arrive.
Titanal and carbon fiber strips are laid up in the construction for a lively feel and ample stability at speed, and the 2.2 mm impact edges stand up to unseen rocks and roots.
If you’re in the market for a versatile all-mountain style ski that won’t hold you back when speed is the order of the day, it’s probably time to check out the Armada Invictus.
