By bike, on foot and on skis through the Himalayas right in the dead of winter: Claude Balsiger and Thomas Wäspe will be venturing into this first-ever experience in February 2013, accompanied by outdoor photographer and film maker Martin Bissig. Transhimalaya is the name of the icy project: 500 kilometres at up to minus 30 degrees centigrade.
