Mark Cavendish completed a truly historic 2013 Giro d’Italia by winning all five sprint stages–including the first and finale–as well as notching his 100th, 101st, and 102nd career victories. Enduring three weeks of mountains and frequently hellish weather also earned him the red jersey (maglia rossa) as the race points leader.
