Specialized Racing: 2013 World Cup XC2 – Nove Mesto

0

The Specialized Racing crew heads to the Czech Republic for the second round of the new World Cup cross country season. The course at Nove Mesto is known for challenging terrain…rock gardens, roots, and intense climbs. It’s something of a “home” race for some of our stars, especially Olympic champion Jaroslav Kuhlhavy, who lives only a few kilometers away.

An innocent enough “pilot error” unfortunately put Jaro on the round, costing him valuable positions and banging up his knee and shoulder. He’ll live to ride again in a few weeks time, when it’s off to Fort William for round three.

As the only full suspension 29er to win a world championship, the S-Works Epic was the bike choice of the day for most of the team. Check it out at http://www.specialized.com/epic

Video shot and edited by Victor Lucas and John Lawlor. Produced by Specialized Bicycle Components, Inc. Thanks to all of the fans who cheered EXTRA LOUD for the riders.
