Funds will be used to provide underserved kids (ages 6-18) the opportunity to spend a day in the great outdoors with mentors exploring the natural world, learning firsthand the joys and wonders of nature and along the way discovering the importance of conserving wildlife and special places. Great Outdoors University connects kids with nature, and brings life changing experiences to kids…like the one expressed by a 12 year old boy who at the end of his hike shared: “This is the greatest day of my life!”
