The Head Great Joy has been designed for women from the ground up.
With Libra, a new approach to women’s ski architecture, Head has created a line of skis focused on lightness, balance, and control. The Great Joy is 141 mm in the tip, 98 underfoot, and 124 in the tail. The Super Light Sandwich Cap construction features a wood core, glass fiber layers, and a new material called graphene, which is one of the lightest and strongest materials ever discovered. The result is a substantially lighter ski that’s easier to steer and turn for skiers of just about every ability level.
The Allride rocker is 80% camber underfoot with 20% rocker in the tips for performance you can count on whether you’re skiing fresh tracks or hardpack. Rebound technology eliminates chatter in the rockered tips and the progressive radius requires 50% less angulation to enjoy full edge contact.
