Part of Burton’s Family Tree collection, the Flight Attendant is your ticket to fun on deep powder days.
The Flight Attendant has a hybrid S-Rocker profile that places traditional camber between the feet with a long rockered nose. When combined with the directional shape that tapers down in the tail, you get maximum floatation in the powder.
It also features an FSC ceritifed super fly II wood core, the channel mounting system, and a Sintered WFO base for uncompromising speed.
The conditions the day I tested the Flight Attendant were all time! About a foot of fresh and a classic bluebird day at Brighton. Pretty much the exact conditions this board is designed for. That being said, I ride the board all the time and it’s a great all mountain freestyle board, rips groomers, and is fun on pretty much any snow pack.
The first time I saw the board, I was nervous that it would be too aggressive for my style of riding. But that quickly went away after realizing how playful the board felt, while still being able to handle some aggressive riding and bigger lines.
I really like the shape and especially the flex of the board. Its just stiff enough to power through chop, but soft enough to play around and butter. It also has the perfect amount of rise in the nose for those deep days!
If you’ve been looking for a board that can handle big lines and deep snow but is still playful enough to allow some creativity on natural features—you can finally rejoice, because the Flight Attendant has just landed.
